A research project about making exhibitions of Australian
migration histories from local and personal perspectives
Welcome to Migration Memories. The Migration Memories research
exhibitions were developed through conversations between the researcher
and curator Mary Hutchison and participants in Lightning Ridge and
Robinvale. Showing the exhibitions in their localities and at the National
Museum in Canberra brought many more people into the conversation about Australian migration history and ways of exhibiting it from personal and local perspectives.
This website extends the conversation to anyone who has personal,
